But for those looking for a cool, quirky and yummy place to eat, Eugene's just might be a stop you'll want to make for not only great food but a definite cool atmosphere as well.

From the minute you walk in the door, the 70s come screaming at you from the pink flamingos to Formica countertops to the hook art rugs on the walls to the communal tables where you get to know your neighbor, lohud reported.

All that aside, what diners will really care about is the food. And of course, as the owner of three other Westchester restaurants, The Cookery, The Parlor and The Rare Bit, in Dobbs Ferry, DiBari knows a thing or two about food.

This time he has taken a shaker and mixed things up by offering old-timey favorites such as roasted Spam, yep, Spam, hot dogs, burgers, and special orders for large-size dining including a roasted pig for eight. All of the meats are locally sourced and cured in house for the real foodie, according to lohud.com.

Keeping with the 70s vibe, there's also milkshakes and plenty of yummy cakes and good stuff to put in your mouth.

Right now there is dinner only, but soon lunch will be added and even breakfast two days a week.

The temporary hours are from 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays,  5 to 11 p.m. Thursday; 5 p.m. to midnight on Saturdays, and5  to 9 p.m. Sundays. They are closed on Mondays to sleep.

The restaurant is at 112 N. Main St., Port Chester. For info, reservations, call 914-481-5529.
